Castione Presolana is one of the most popular mountain resorts of Lombardy ( more than 1000 meters above sea level) at the foot of the Presolana massif, a gem of the Orobic Alps. The town is only 45 km away from Bergamo and 90 km from Milan. Its closeness to Milan makes Castione della Presolana the favourite mountain resort by the Milanese.
Castione della Presolana, in the Upper Val Seriana, named after the river Serio, is surrounded by charming valleys: Val Bondione, Val di Scalve, Val Camonica, Val Brembana.
